Karen Wales – Payroll Manager
I became Payroll Manager in 2010 when I joined Hayhow & Co. I am responsible for all aspects of Payroll including weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly and monthly pay schedules, as well as Contractor Monthly Returns and all aspects of CIS. With Auto-enrolment now coming into force, please contact me if you have any queries at all regarding your legal requirements.
“I know how important it is to be on top of all employment legislation and how daunting it can be for clients to face the new challenges that employment can bring, but if I can help the client with their legal responsibility so that they can concentrate on running their business then I’m more than happy to do so.”
When I’m not at work I like nothing more than a spot of gardening – I can`t resist a plant!

Harriet Bush – Receptionist & Bookkeeper
I joined Hayhow in April 2022, just as I was approaching the completion of level 2 in accounting. I wanted to work in an environment that would benefit my studies as I continue working towards getting my AAT qualification. Prior to joining the company I worked in insurance for 8 years, so I was also looking for a new challenge.
My role consists of receptionist duties as well as helping with bookkeeping and accounting jobs.
Outside of work I enjoy reading, going horse racing, long walks with my dog and gloating about Liverpool FC.
