James Emmerson - Accountant
I have worked for Hayhow & Co for 8 years. My role within the firm is closely based with client relationship where I produce regular management figures, and help with VAT compliance etc. I also take particular pleasure in troubleshooting when it comes to client’s software/bookkeeping problems. Other aspects of my role include drafting company accounts, processing payroll, and taxation work.
Outside of work I still attempt to play football on a Saturday for Denver Football Club for whom I am also treasurer, and I’m a huge Norwich City fan. The majority of my down time is spent enjoying my young family, and all of the adventures that come along with it.
Karen Wales – Payroll Manager
I became Payroll Manager in 2010 when I joined Hayhow & Co. I am responsible for all aspects of Payroll including weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly and monthly pay schedules, as well as Contractor Monthly Returns and all aspects of CIS. With Auto-enrolment now coming into force, please contact me if you have any queries at all regarding your legal requirements.
“I know how important it is to be on top of all employment legislation and how daunting it can be for clients to face the new challenges that employment can bring, but if I can help the client with their legal responsibility so that they can concentrate on running their business then I’m more than happy to do so.”
When I’m not at work I like nothing more than a spot of gardening – I can`t resist a plant!
